Brewery veteran Mike Huffman moving across Port Moody to startup Fraser Mills

Port Moody’s newest brewery adds experienced hand in tasting room

Port Moody, BC (April 25th 2019)—Fraser Mills Fermentation Company, an ambitious startup opening this summer, has hired Mike Huffman as Customer Experience Manager to oversee their retail operations and tasting room.

Mike has an extensive background in hospitality and food service, with over 30 years of experience in positions both in the back of the house and the front. He served for five years as Tasting Room Manager at Yellow Dog Brewing in Port Moody, where he was responsible for multiple areas of their business including customer relations, communications, and social media management.

His relentless curiosity has given him a background that includes a certificate of Broadcasting and Communications, a mastery of professional photography, personnel recruitment, and professional cooking.

Originally from small-town Ontario, Mike has lived in Port Moody for the last two decades. He not only brings his talents in tasting room management and hospitality to Fraser Mills, he is also an accomplished commercial drone pilot, and is an experienced beer homebrewer with extensive knowledge of mead and cider making.


Fraser Mills Fermentation Company is slated to open in August 2019 in Port Moody, and will be producing not only Craft beer, but also wine, cider, mead and soda, with 99 seats and a sunny patio facing St. Johns street. Find out more at @frasermillsfc on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
