Yukon Brewing: Mimosa Kolsch Review Review

Yukon Brewing’s Mimosa Kölsch series continues with this version made with mandarin and blood oranges.

This beer poured with a minimal head that disappeared quickly, almost too quickly to get these photos. Not that we’re complaining; once the beer was out of the glass and into our mouths, we had no issues whatsoever.

Sitting pretty in our German beer glasses, this beer was distinctly orange, unusual even for a beer made with oranges. The fruit comes on nicely in the finish.

Summary

Pros

Fruit flavour in an easy-drinking beer. Delicious way to start your Sunday morning.

Cons

Not a beer-flavoured beer. Pours fairly flat. For many, it won’t look as good as it tastes.
