Torchlight Brewing – Rhubarbarian

Overview

Torchlight Brewing – Rhubarbarian Review

From Torchlight Brewing, we have the Rhubarbarian, representing the experimentative brewery’s take on a rhubarb brew, apparently brewed using a Kveik yeast type.

The appearance is pale orange, like a strawberry wheat beer. It’s unfiltered, with serious lees at bottom of glass.

The aroma includes rhubarb, strawberry, and berries. On the palate, it’s soft, with mild carbonation.

The flavour is sweet but mildly tart. Now, most beers brewed with Kveik yeast strains tend to be milder.

Overall, Rhubarbarian is a decent fruit ale.
