Lighthouse – Nightwatch Coffee Lager

Overview

Lighthouse – Nightwatch Coffee Lager Review

Before you even taste this beer, you’ll smell it.

Looking for a beer with a subtle hint of java in the aroma? Um, no. All your olfactory glands are belong to coffee when you crack open a Nightwatch.

One BeerSeeker would seek this beer out again. But she’s a coffee drinker. The other thought it was good for a change but once is enough.

This is a still lager. That means: no bubbles. After the initial cappuccino-like foam subsides, it’s like a clear, tawny glass of water with coffee and alcohol. That’s not a bad thing. All flavour, no foam.
