Dead Frog Brewing – Balls Be Droppin’

Overview

Dead Frog Brewing – Balls Be Droppin’ Review

Looking for a beer to bring in the new year? Don’t want to celebrate with champagne or sparkling white wine? Get out the champagne glasses, and look no further than a Brut IPA, the perfect alternative !!

Dead Frog Brewery has created a beer for all those non champagne drinkers for the New Years Eve celebration. As a Brut IPA, it is effervescent, light and bubbly. At 7.2% ABV, it is just way too easy to drink!

This highly-carbonated beer pours a golden straw colour with a large, compact white head which holds onto the glass until that very last sip. It has a full-on aroma of citrus, with just a hint of white wine and stone fruit.

With a swirl and that first sip, the white wine grape flavours from the Hallertau Blanc hops take over.

The mouthfeel is extra dry and very crisp and would pair nicely with any of those rich NYE appies. It really is a blending of West Coast IPA meets Champagne!

A nice way to end the year. Cheers!
