Strathcona – Head Banger Triple IPA

Overview

Strathcona – Head Banger Triple IPA Review

What better way to celebrate a second anniversary but with a Triple IPA, and that is exactly what Strathcona Brewing Company of East Vancouver decided to do! On November15th Strathcona came out with their 10.4% Head Banger in tall cans with two labels -one black, one white.

This beer pours a rich copper colour and has a bit of haze due to the oat and wheat additions. The aroma is all hops with the double dry hopping of Galaxy, Enigma,Mosiac and Citra creating an amazing aroma of citrus and stone fruit. And despite the whopping 10.4% alcohol content this ale goes down way too easily. Truly a “head banger” if one drinks too much or too quickly. Meant to be sipped and enjoyed.
