Vancouver Island Brewing Pod Pack

A COASTAL COLLABORATION THAT BENEFITS OUR RESIDENT KILLER WHALES – INTRODUCING THE POD PACK BY VANCOUVER ISLAND BREWING

Summer has arrived and Vancouver Island Brewing Company is preparing to release the Pod Pack, a collaboration between local island breweries with the objective of helping to preserve our coastal wildlife. The product is now available in your local private liquor stores. The tall can mix pack is in support of the Pacific Salmon Foundation and one dollar from every Pod Pack will be donated to preserving Wild B.C. Salmon stocks, a vital food source for our southern resident killer whales.

The Pod Pack is made up of four unique beers, by four distinct breweries: Ocean Sun by White Sails Brewing – Nanaimo, B.C., Double IPA, 8.0% ABV; Rainshadow by Twin City Brewing – Port Alberni, B.C., Blackberry-Raspberry Sour, 5.5% ABV; Mystic by Îsle Sauvage Brewing – Victoria, B.C., Dry Hopped Sour, 5.0% ABV; and Deadhead by Land and Sea Brewing – Comox, B.C., Hazy Session IPA, 4.5% ABV. The name of each individual brew is the namesake of one of our southern resident killer whales.

One Twenty Three West (123w) created and designed the Pod Pack; Great Little Box Company custom printed the packaging; Canada Malting ensured a stable supply of highest quality malt; and Westkey produced the classic, sleek labels.
