Strange Fellows Brewing Releases RED HAVEN Wild Ale with Peaches

VANCOUVER – Time to find your bliss… Strange Fellows Brewing is pleased to announce the release of RED HAVEN Wild Ale with Peaches – the first in our 2021 Foudre Series.

Budding from an ancient peach tree rooted high in the mountains of paradise comes the promise of eternal life. Provender of the gods, the peaches symbolize immortality and are believed to grant a long and healthy life to all who eat them. Hailing from the Okanagan rather than that mythical garden of bliss, Red Haven peaches bestow a delicate fruity aroma and juicy bright character upon this softly sour golden beer. Sip and delight in your time here.

BREWER’S NOTES

At Strange Fellows we have a 6000L French Oak vessel called a Foudre that we use for long-term aging of special wild and sour beers. Periodically we release a series of beers from this Foudre each with a uniquely different element. Red Haven is our first Foudre release from 2021 and was brewed with Red Haven peaches from Oyama in the Okanagan. The result is a tart and complex wild ale with a delicate peach aroma and unmistakable fruity character.

Strange Fellows is an East Vancouver craft brewery inspired by tradition and creativity that celebrates the strange and the extraordinary. We gratefully acknowledge that we occupy and benefit from the unceded lands of the Tsleil-Waututh, Squamish and Musqueam nations.
