Old Yale Brewing, a craft brewery based in BC’s adventure playground, Chilliwack, continues to blaze new trails using their 20+ years of successful brewing (including Canadian Brewing Awards “Beer of the Year” win for their Sasquatch Stout in 2014). Today, Old Yale Brewing announced the release of their newest Trailblazer beer, Juicy Pineapple Summer Pilsner

“Our Trailblazer Series was created to explore bold new flavours and ingredients to craft truly one-of-a-kind beers and we’re very confident we’ve done just that with our newest release; Juicy Pineapple Summer Pilsner. We took a classic style; Pilsner and elevated it with malted Rye to provide a subtle spiciness and an added complexity, AND then we added fresh juicy Pineapple to make this the perfect beer to sip on a sunny day. Bursting with vibrant flavour, the Zamba hops in our new Pilsner entertain your palette by bringing a splash of both Tropical and Stone Fruit freshness. The generous addition of Juicy fruits and malted Rye help give this beer an additional kick and add to its complex character. This new Pilsner is the perfect Summertime Sipper.

Brewed as an internal collaboration with our Sales team, we used both Pilsner and Rye Malt, as well as the ever so exotic Zamba Hop.
