Old Yale Brewing Releases Mango Hibiscus Hazy IPA
Old Yale Brewing, a craft brewery based in BC’s adventure playground, Chilliwack, continues to blaze new trails using their 20+ years of successful brewing (including Canadian Brewing Awards “Beer of the Year” win for their Sasquatch Stout in 2014). Old Yale Brewing announces the release of their newest Trailblazer beer, Mango Hibiscus Hazy IPA.

Mango Hibiscus Hazy IPA is the newest tropical creation to hit Old Yale Brewing’s single batch limited release Trailblazer Series. With the Summer season soon coming to a close, the Mango Hibiscus Hazy IPA is a perfect way to salute the sun, offering a new take on some familiar flavours to craft a truly one-of-a-kind beer.
“We’ve been absolutely blown away by the feedback from our customers wanting us to brew another Hazy IPA, so we decided to do just that but with a summer twist. We have crafted a lot of great beers this Summer, and this one will be a perfect addition to that lineup.” – stated Zach Van Leeuwen, General Manager, Old Yale Brewing.
A luscious IPA, showcasing a vibrant blend of Citra, Galaxy and Simcoe hops with Mango and Hibiscus. Dripping with a rich, velvety flavor, the tropical and citrus notes balance the assertive bitterness that you’ve come accustom to in an Old Yale IPA.
“Combining into something greater than the sum of its parts our Mango Hibiscus IPA started as a post brew-day blend of our Mango Moon Dance Wheat Ale, and West Coast IPA. It was so good that we decided to share it with everyone. But why stop there, we further boosted the fruity character by double dry hopping with Simcoe hops, and then conditioning on Hibiscus Petals. The result is a smooth, bold and VERY fruity IPA.” – stated Nick Fengler, Brewmaster, Old Yale Brewing.
Mango Hibiscus Hazy IPA is available now in 473ml 4-packs and on tap in the Tasting Room and will be sold in Private Liquor stores in the next few weeks.
