OLD YALE BREWING CONTINUES 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS WITH NEWEST TALL TALE SERIES RETURN
Old Yale Brewing, a craft brewery based in BC’s adventure playground, Chilliwack, continues to blaze new trails using their 19+ years of successful brewing (including Canadian Brewing Awards “Beer of the Year” win for their Sasquatch Stout in 2014). Today, Old Yale Brewing announced the re-release of their Tall Series Brew, Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier.

Continuing on with its 20th anniversary celebrations, Old Yale Brewing has re-released another Tall Tale Series favourite perfectly timed with Summer in full swing, the Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier.
“Another of our Tall Tales Series brews that has been siting patiently on the sideline for a little while, we wanted to continue the excitement of our 20th” anniversary year by re-releasing this summertime classic brew. The Vanishing Monk gives our consumers another great option in a bomber and will be a perfect accompaniment to some of our canned summer releases this year“ stated Zach Van Leeuwen, General Manager, Old Yale Brewing.
An unfiltered Belgian style Witbier with hints of orange and coriander, a slightly tart finish and a fluffy white head. Use it to steam mussels or pair with a fresh fruit salad.
“Although it vanished in 2017, we revamped our recipe slightly and we’re eager to have our Vanishing Monk Belgian Witbier return. Coriander, Orange Peel and of course a traditional Belgian Yeast strain all contribute to make this Wheat Ale. Refreshing, crisp and light, this brew is an excellent Summer sipper that pairs perfectly with seafood and sunshine.“- stated Nick Fengler, Brewmaster, Old Yale Brewing.
