Old Yale Brewing Re-releases Irish Cream Imperial Stout

Old Yale Brewing, a craft brewery based in BC’s adventure playground, Chilliwack, continues to blaze new trails using their 20+ years of successful brewing (including Canadian Brewing Awards “Beer of the Year” win for their Sasquatch Stout in 2014). Today, Old Yale Brewing announced the re-release of a seasonal fan favourite, Irish Cream Imperial Stout, formerly known as Screaming Banshee Irish Cream Stout.

Beer Launching: Irish Cream Imperial Stout

ABV: 8%
Hops: Magnum
Malt: Pale, Oats, Roast, Chocolate, Crystal

This is now the fourth year that Old Yale Brewing has released this tasty brew as part of the Trailblazer series. Since its original release in 2013, the Irish Cream Imperial Stout has become the most sought-after beers in its league. With such a tempting flavor profile, it’s easy to tell why!

“A Winter staple here at Old Yale Brewing, our slow, sweet and soul-warming Irish Cream Imperial Stout has made it’s infamous and annual return! Previously brewed as our Tall Tales Series Screaming Banshee Irish Cream Stout, this Trailblazer Series Stout offers a decadent smoothness making it the perfect indulgence for Winter.” – Heather Perdue, Brand & Marketing Strategist.

With a smooth, dark roast malt character and an indulgent kiss of Irish Cream, it’s the silky, luscious brew you’ve been searching for.

“A welcome return of a trusted winter seasonal, this trailblazer holds a special place in our hearts. A big bold, Imperial Stout, clocking in at 8% abv is perfect for those long cold nights. Rich and dripping with decadence, notes of dark chocolate and vanilla dominate the nose with undertones of fig and a slight nuttiness and alcohol warming on the palette. Forget the Irish coffee, fill your mug with this.” Nick Fengler, Brewmaster.

Irish Cream Imperial Stout is available in 473ml 4-packs now in the Old Yale Tasting Room, Online for Delivery and Private Liquor Stores. Visit the Brewery’s Store Locator tool to find a licensed establishment or retail store near you at www.oldyalebrewing.com. Or, stop by the brewery for a taste!
