HYPHA Project’s 2nd Beer Release on September 11th: The New Normal IPA

HYPHA Project logo

VANCOUVER, BC: The HYPHA Project is gearing up for the release of their second beer: The New Normal, with the label designed by Peter Ricq. The beer name and artwork are a reflection of these unprecedented times.

The HYPHA Project combines beer, art and community to release limited batches in custom cans designed by local Vancouver artists. It officially opened for business July 25th, 2020 with the first beer release, Inceptional, an east/west-coast inspired hazy IPA.

The second beer, The New Normal, is scheduled for release Friday, Sept. 11th, 2020 and showcases local artist Peter Ricq. Both the label design and the name reflect this particular time in history.

The beer itself is a hybrid, double dry hopped IPA that brings together the best of both east coast & west coast style IPAs. The blend of Citra, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops produces a complex profile of citrus, tropical fruits. Berries on the nose are supported by dank, earthy undertones. Whirlpooling and multiple dry hop additions make for an aromatic beer with balanced bitterness. The unique in-house blend of yeast strains means The New Normal finishes dry.

The New Normal will be available for sale in 4 x 473ml packs and on tap at Slow Hand Beer on Fri. Sept 11th and Sat. Sept 12th. Pre-orders are available online.
