Goodwill Lager returns in 2019 to turn more beers into more gifts for deserving families
Vancouver beer lovers are invited to make a donation by libation this holiday season
Last year, thirsty beer drinkers helped donate $10,000 worth of toys to deserving kids and families by enjoying delicious Goodwill Lager during the holiday season. This year, Goodwill Lager returns to help raise funds for holiday toys with the simple message of #morebeermoregifts.
Brewed in collaboration between Parkside Brewing and Bomber Brewing, Goodwill Lager is a lightly-hopped Munich Helles Lager which will be served all Vancouver Donnelly Group Vancouver beginning November 14th, with $1 from the purchase of every beer being donated in toys to the Salvation Army. Through its annual Toy Drive, the Donnelly Group will also match the donations with the goal of inspiring Vancouver beer drinker to beat last year’s total.
Comedian Dino Archie is this spokesperson for this year’s Goodwill Lager campaign, and he filmed the promotional video which will support it. Having recently moved back from LA to again live in Vancouver, Dino jumped at the chance to be part of this campaign. “Vancouver has given me a lot and working with my friends at Donnelly Group on their Toy Drive is a way for me to say thanks to the city. I’m going to be the guy reminding people to keep drinking those beers and giving those gifts.”
This year, beer lovers can double their contribution to the cause by posting a photo of their Goodwill Lager with using the hashtag #morebeermoregifts. Donnelly Group will donate another $1 in toys for every hashtagged photo which is posted.
