Foamers’ Folly Brewing Releases Two Winter Beers!
TWO WINTER RELEASES: Ghost Train Barleywine and Jezibaba Absinthe Stout
Traditionally ‘winter beers’ are some of the heartiest, richest, most flavourful of all beer styles, and we’ve just released two of them!
Jezibaba Absinthe Stout is a collab that we did with Arbutus Distillery’s Baba Yaga Absinthe. In traditional Eastern European folklore, Baba Yaga is a witch that lives in the forest tormenting innocent passersby. Jezibaba is her Czech sister – she is more helpful than Baba Yaga and is also an expert botanist.
We have also just released the 2020 edition of our ever-popular Ghost Train Barleywine. Released for Samhain, a festival marking the end of harvest season and the beginning of winter, this Barleywine is designed to warm your soul. Rich, ruby brown in colour with aromas of toasted vanilla and deep flavours of dark caramel and dried fruit. This beer is bold and incredibly smooth, and will keep you feeling spirited.
