Container Brewing and BC Organic Produce

Just in time for the summer crop, we are excited to offer our first organic produce community supported agriculture (CSA) program.

This is a 12 week farmer’s choice CSA share put together with help from our friends at Hazelmere Organic Farm, in the Fraser Valley. Working with organic farmers across BC your package will include items from their selection of in-season produce. Selections will include greens, herbs, ferments, root vegetables, and fruits. Your weekly package will also include 4x473mL of our freshest beer, chosen from our limited releases and regular line up. At $44 a week ($528 total), one share will provide enough produce (& beer) for 1-2 people. We encourage you to purchase multiple shares if you’re looking to accommodate larger households.

This is our first effort at helping to support our local agriculture community and we really hope that you are as excited as we are about this. We will need to reach a minimum of 40 shares sold in order to run the program and with your help we hope can make this possible. If we are unable to reach that number, you will be refunded 100% of your deposit.

The sign-up period will end on May 20, 2020 or earlier if we reach our maximum. We will introduce a wait list if required. A deposit of $100 will be taken at the time of sign-up. Participants will have the option of paying the balance any time before the first pick up day or paying in installments. ($110 every 3 weeks)

Your first box will be ready for free delivery or pick up (your choice) at Container Brewing (1216 Franklin St.) starting May 26th or June 2nd, depending on how quickly we fill our available spots. Delivery area will include Vancouver. North Vancouver and Burnaby.

About Hazelmere Organic Farm
Hazelmere Organic Farm is nestled within an agricultural sanctuary in South Surrey. Over 30 years, the land has been farmed by the King family . Following traditional methods of topsoil management, the farm yields many varieties of organic vegetables and culinary herbs which are sold locally to customers and fine restaurants throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. She has partnered with other certified organic growers in the valley and orchards in Okanagan to offer a varied selection of fruits and vegetables.
