Category 12 Brewing Offers Direct Delivery or Pickup
Finally, some good news: Category 12 Brewing is offering the option of direct delivery and pick up for customers in the Victoria area!
Family-run Category 12 Brewing, located on Keating Cross Rd. in Central Saanich, is among the first in the industry to pivot to offer an online sales model in an attempt to make up for the significant loss of sales due to the closures necessary to stem the COVID-19 crisis.
Realizing the impact a complete closure would have, Michael Kuzyk diligently applied his doctoral research skills into creating the Category 12 online store, now viewable through their website and all social media (www.category12beer.com). Delivery is only $5 throughout the Greater Victoria area and Westshore, and occurs across multiple days to accommodate schedules.
The same freshly packaged cans and bottles are also available for pickup at the brewery which is still open with modified business hours.
After five years of business, owners Michael and Karen are hopeful that their ability to adapt quickly in response to significant social and economic pressures will allow their amazing and dedicated staff to return to their jobs soon. They are optimistic that their brewery will endure and continue to contribute to their loving local community that has made their existence possible.
