Dageraad & Upright Brewing - Rhythm Section Saison Review Dageraad Brewing & Upright Brewing – Rhythm Section Saison Brewed With Spices Review

Teaming up with Burnaby’s Dageraad Brewing is Upright Brewing creating a spiced saison. This beer comes in 750ml bottles and is bottle conditioned. Pouring the Rhythm Section erupts with head in an intensely carbonated manner. Settling somewhat quickly the beer has notes of saison-style yeast, wheat, coriander and cracked pepper. Tasting the beer, the carbonation is strong on the tongue and leads into the spiced flavour of coriander, pepper and a touch of orange-citrus. The spice is not overpowering but builds upon the natural yeast flavours from the beer. The Rhythm Section is a tasty, spiced beer that perhaps has fermented a touch more than expected giving it a bit of over-zealous carbonation.
