Yukon Brewery Land of the Trees Pale Ale review Yukon Brewing Co. – Land of the Trees Spruce Tip APA Review

Brewed using Yukon picked Spruce Tips the Yukon Brewing Co.’s Land of the Trees is a locally inspired American Style Pale Ale. This beer pours from the bomber bottle a colour that is amber with a very thin finger’s worth of head which leaves lacing behind on the glass. The aroma is hoppy and lightly bitter with a copper-metallic tone on the nose. Tasting the beer it is low in carbonation which brings out a bit more sweetness in the flavour. Notes of caramel build into a metallic, piney, lightly bitter finish. The spruce tips are apparent in the flavour but could be mistaken for hops as they do not take control of the beer. The Land of the trees is a nice Pale Ale with spruce tips but does have a bit of a metallic flavour to it.
