Sun Rype Dry Apple Hard Cider Review Sun Rype – Okanagan Dry Apple Hard Cider Review

Sun Rype, one of BC’s largest apple juice suppliers has entered the craft cider market releasing 473ml can 4-packs of their Okanagan Dry Apple. At 5.5% alcohol this product is a classic and sessionable cider. The colour is a light golden-straw and a thin finger of head tops the glass before settling quickly without a trace. The aroma is strong with apple juice notes and is likely back sweetened with apple juice or concentrate to give that intense apple aroma. The flavour is off-dry with a light apple sweetness that masks any hint of alcohol in the mix. The flavour is quite simply sparkling apple juice and goes down very easy. The sweetness builds throughout and while the first sips seem quite dry, by the end of a pint sugar comes up front and centre. This is a classic and easy drinking cider that is quite enjoyable. If you enjoy apple juice flavour then this is the cider for you.

Alcohol – 5.5%
Size – 4 x 473ml
