Bowen Island Brewing Main Sail ISA CanBowen Island Brewing – Main Sail ISA Review

Bowen Island Brewing out of Kamloops recently brought out their new Main Sail ISA as part of their summer mixer pack.   The beer pours a clear golden amber colour with two fingers of off-white head that leaves behind plenty of lacing.  Main Sail gives off aromas of grain, citrus, caramel, honey and a subtle floral note.  Flavours of melon, apples, caramel and honey intermingle and there is a mild residual sweetness as well.  In the mouth Main Sail is light with a mild bitterness that presents itself and subsides leaving a pleasant finish.

Alcohol – 4.3%
IBU – 40
Hops – Nugget, Chinook, Centennial, Cascade
Size – 355mL
