Riot Brewing Co. – Lipslide Lager Review
In Riot Brewing’s core beer lineup comes the Lipslide Lager. Available in 6-packs of 355ml cans this beer is golden in colour and has two fingers of head which settles quickly and without a trace. The aroma is big in the malt character with notes of bread, light citrus and a bit of a sweetness to it. Tasting the beer it has a bigger than typical body and a sweet character to go with it. The malt takes control of the flavour profile with a light and refreshing citrus character. The bready-malt flavours still reign supreme though in a sweet and big bodied lager. As the finish comes in a slight hop bitterness builds and leaves the palate with the lingering sweetness and mellow bitter character. The Lipslide is easy drinking and mellow with a bit more sweetness than you may expect from a lager.
