Web documentary series Flights about BC breweries prepares to bring out the episodes for series 2
The web documentary series Flights began in 2016 and showed an intimate look inside six of the lower mainland’s most popular and acclaimed breweries.
Produced for Vancouver is Awesome, Flights takes a look at local breweries and beer culture with an eye to discover what drives these industry leaders to create excellent beer. Featuring interviews and extensive footage from both tasting rooms and breweries, Flights short videos are a great way to discover more about some of your favourite breweries in Metro Vancouver.
For series two, the Flights team spent much of the winter visiting even more BC breweries including 33 Acres and Hearthstone Brewery in North Vancouver. This week Flights will announce their episode lineup for their second series.
Beer Me BC caught up with the group at their shoot at Hearthstone Brewery for these behind the scenes shots and to discover more about the project. It was a great opportunity to watch the team at work getting footage for the web series and to see how much work goes into their short and concise videos, packed full of great footage and interviews.
Beer Me BC will be sharing each episode of series two of Flights as they are released in the coming weeks so stay tuned. Follow the Fights team on Facebook and don’t forget to show your support for Vancouver is Awesome while you’re at it.
