Central City Brewing is letting a single hop take centre stage in their new Red Racer Lemon Groove Golden Ale.  Brewed using Lemon Drop hops, this light golden ale gets right out of the way to let the full flavours of the hop shine through.  Lemon Groove pours from the bomber bottle a clear golden colour with two fingers of slowly dissipating head that leaves some trace lacing behind.  The aromas are primarily of crusty bread and cooked lemon along with some light herbal tones.  In the mouth there is a prominent citrus flavour as well as a strong note of lemon pith.  These citrus tones are followed by light grainy malt flavours.  Lemon Groove is light and crisp with a clean finish, while also offering a mild lingering pithy citrus bitterness on the finish.
