Central City Brewing Beer League Lager CanCentral City Brewing – Beer League Lager Review

Central City Brewing rolled out its new lager this month and named it in honour of our beer league sports we love so much.  Intended to be your post-game brew, Beer League Lager definitely has a lot to live up to.  The beer pours from the 355mL can a clear straw yellow colour with two fingers of white head that dissipates very quickly leaving no lacing behind on the glass.  Aromas of grain and bread come forward initially, followed by  notes of grass, earth, and mild herbal hop tones.  In the mouth the flavour is of cereal, wheat and grain, but the beer also presents a subtle citrus note and a hint of honey, followed by a light bitterness.  Beer League is light in the mouth while being crisp and refreshing, just what you’d look for as your post-game thirst quencher.

Alcohol – 5.0%
Size – 355mL
