Wheelhouse Brewing Gillnetter Golden Ale BottleWheelhouse Brewing – Gillnetter Golden Ale Review

By far the most popular beer produced at Wheelhouse Brewing in Prince Rupert is their Gillnetter Golden Ale.  The beer pours from the bomber bottle a clear golden colour with one finger of off-white head that dissipates slowly leaving some trace lacing on the glass.  The Gillnetter presents grainy and bready aromas with some light herbal and grassy tones.  In the mouth are flavours of bready malts with a slight hint of caramel.  Grassy hop tones are joined by some slight fruity notes.  The Gillnetter finishes clean but not dry, and very drinkable.

Alcohol – 4.8%
