Phillips Brewing - Solaris White Peach Ale Review Phillips Brewing Co. – Solaris White Peach Ale Review

As a summer seasonal release the Phillips Brewing Company has released the Solaris, a White Peach flavoured Ale which is a light 4.3% alcohol. From the 473ml can this beer pours slightly cloudy, golden-straw coloured and has two fingers of head which settles leaving light lacing behind on the glass. The aroma is of wheat, coriander and of course peach. The scent from this beer forecasts a light and easy drinking Belgian Witbier with a light peach flavour infusion. The flavour is light and easy drinking but the peach notes come through stronger than on the nose. Wheat is still up front but any coriander spice is masked early on by the peach notes. As the flavour progresses a slight coriander spice emerges but remains slight with the wheat and peach notes keeping up front. This is an easy drinking, refreshing summer beer with a light peach flavour that is defined but not over the top.

Alcohol – 4.3%
Size – 473ml
