Moody Ales - Sociable Pale Ale Review Moody Ales – Sociable Pale Ale Review

Beer is supposed to be social and with high alcohol that opportunity has some limitations. That is way Moody Ales has brewed up their Sociable Pale at at a modest 4.8% alcohol. From the bomber bottle this Pale Ale is a colour of golden amber and is topped with nearly three fingers of lightly lacing head. An aroma of citrus and mild bitter-sweet tones hits the nose in a mellow and sessionable but also distinct way. A hit of citrus orange comes in off the bat with a light toasted malt and hop bitter character that follows up. The bitterness and sweetness are both quite mellow and the body is fairly light making for a very quaffable beer. The Sociable Pale Ale is light, flavourful and summer-inspired and is best enjoyed with friends being, well… sociable.
