Bridge Brewing Uganda Sipi Coffee Brown Ale Review Bridge Brewing Co. – Uganda Sipi Coffee Brown Ale Review

The Uganda Sipi Coffee Brown Ale is a fall seasonal release from North Vancouver’s Bridge Brewing Company. In collaboration with Moja Coffee this Brown Ale is Infused with Organic Uganda Sipi Falls coffee. Pouring the beer from the bomber bottle it has a colour of deep brown with a finger and a half of mocha coloured head. From the head comes an aroma of strong coffee, a touch of chocolate  and a smooth, toasted note. Sipping the beer a mid-body leaves room for a light creaminess and big coffee flavour up front. The coffee tones have a light sweetness but also a distinct, mild bitterness that is balanced with a chocolate sweetness. While many seemingly comparable beers may come with a heft to them this Brown Ale has a certain lightness to the flavour and body making it more sessionable than other similarly flavoured beers. The Uganda Sipi is a delicious coffee-infused beer that is light enough for a warm fall day but also dark enough to warm your soul as the days shorten and the mercury begins to fall.
