Big Rock Wayfinder Pale Ale ReviewBig Rock Urban Brewery – Wayfinder Pale Ale Review

The Big Rock Urban Brewery continues to roll out their BC brewed craft beers and the new Wayfinder Pale Ale has entered the brewery’s staple lineup. At 4.5% alcohol this relatively light Pale Ale pours from the bottle as a slightly cloudy, amber colour topped with a finger and a half of dense and lightly lacing head. A smooth aroma of piney hops, toasted malt and a English style bitterness come through on the nose with a lightly floral hint to it. The flavour is light on the tongue and has a well balanced body. A smooth and malty flavour comes through up front with a touch of sweetness to it. From there a touch of pine builds with a blend of northwest and English style hop bitterness. The Wayfinder Pale Ale is a delicious balance of sessionability and flavour and is an excellent representation of the Pale Ale Style. The Wayfinder is in my opinion the best beer to come from the Big Rock Urban Brewery to date.
