Postmark Brewing Spruce Tip Ale Postmark Brewing Co. – Spruce Tip Ale Review

Postmark Brewing has brewed up a rendition of the truly BC Spruce Tip Ale style. Infused with new-growth spruce tips this style has become a Northwest favourite. From the bomber bottle the beer pours as a clear amber colour topped with two fingers of very lightly lacing head. From the beer comes a light malted tone with a citrus-spruce aroma to it. The body is relatively light and a malty flavour hits the tongue with a citrus flavour with it. The spruce flaovur is quite apparent with a light sweetness to it. Where hops may give a piney tone with it comes a bitterness that is not here with the Postmark Spruce Tip Ale. Lemon, orange and spruce flavours join the malt and light hop for a sessionable and very enjoyable BC-styled beer.

Tried this last night. A well rounded ale. Quite enjoyable but the abv marked on the bottle was 5.7% not 4.5%
