Sea Cider Pippins Apple Cider Review Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse – Pippins Apple Cider Review

The Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse has brewed a classic apple cider to bring drinkers back to the roots of the style. This organic cider is made with Pippin Apples and comes from Victoria BC. From the clear bottle the Pippins pours as a fizzy straw colour which has no residual head but continues to release CO2 long after being poured. A crisp, rather dry apple scent comes through in a rather juice-like tone. From the aroma it would be difficult to predict the 9.5& alcohol rating. The flavour is off-dry with a bigger than expected body and subtle sweetness. The high alcohol content helps to give the Pippins some extra body but does not come across as boozy. As the finish comes along a residual sweetness lingers with the crisp apple flavour. The Sea Cider Pippins is a delicious and refreshing Apple Cider with a bit more body than typical.
