Main Street Brewing Red Back Ale ReviewMain Street Brewing Co. – Redback Red Ale Review

Main Street Brewing Company has brewed a Red Ale called the Redback. Labelled with a beer-inspired spider on the bottle this beer pours as a dark copper colour topped with two fingers of loosely packed, lacing head. A piney aroma comes through the slow to settle head with a spicey, citrys and tropical fruit infused nose. A big body is joined by a strong northwest style hop in the flavour. Big hop bitterness and a caramel sweetness come together in a spicey and piney flavour which has a light tough of boozyness to it. This is a big red ale which resemples more of a Red IPA than anything else. If have a passion for big hops with a kick of Red ale sweetness and spice then this may just be the beer for you.
