Bridge Brewing To The Max Charity Ale ReviewBridge Brewing Co. – To The Max Charity Ale Review

Bridge Brewing Company has done something amazing and brewed the “To The Max” in support of the “To The Max” team that is participating in the 2015 BC Ride To Conquer Cancer. $1.00 from every bottle and glass sold of this unique, charitable beer will be donated to the team’s fundraising efforts. From the bottle this “Charity Ale” pours a golden-amber colour and is topped with two fingers of lightly lacing head. An aroma of crisp and fruity hops erupts while letting a lightly sweet, maltiness also come through. The citrus and tropical fruit tones from the Ella and Topaz hops takes charge on the nose. On your first sip you will find a fairly light bodied pale ale with a crisp and invigorating hop profile. Notes of citrus, apricot and passion fruit come through in a piney hop flavour. A light sweetness also comes through and while the hop flavour is quite strong a malt flavour is also rather apparent. This is a light bodied, well balanced, delicious brew that donates to a great cause. Really, what more can you ask for?
