Bad Tattoo Brewing’s first seasonal release is a big one. The Dia de Los Muertos is a wax sealed, 750ml bottle which tips the alcohol scales at 9.0% This Belgian Dubbel style beer pours as a reddish-amber colour topped with two and a half fingers worth of off-white, lacing head. This beer smells strong but not really boozy. A malty base and a candi-sweetness make for a unique and slightly yeasty, Belgian aroma. The body is very big with a creamy and smooth texture. In the flavour a caramel-candy sweetness takes charge with a kick of alcohol. The yeast adds to the mix making for a strong and intense, fairly sweet, belgian tasting beer. The Dia de Los Muertos is a unique Belgian Dubbel which has great body and a ton of flavour!
