Four Winds Oat Porter Review BottleFour Winds Brewing – Oat Porter Review

Four Winds has added an Oat Porter to their 330ml bottle line of four packs. This beer pours from the bottle as a deep and dark brown colour letting through a tiny bit of light. Topped with a very thin finger of head which settles quickly this beer smells nutty with chocolate tones but remains fairly light (for such a dark beer) as per the Porter style. This beer is very lightly carbonated with big roasted malt flavour and a touch of chocolate and coffee. The malt tones definetly take charge and give a well roasted flavour and a very dry, lightly bittered finish. The Four Winds Brewing Oat Porter is a dark and malty beer with big flavour but a lighter body than you may expect.
