Sea Cider Rumrunner Apple Cider Review Sea Cider – Rumrunner Apple Cider Review

The Rumrunner is an Apple Cider which takes things a step beyond what you may expect. Aged in Newfoundland Screech barrels this cider has a little more to it than is typical. Coming in a 750ml, resealable bottle this strong 12.5% alcohol cider will surely pack a punch. Pouring from the bottle this cider appears an amber colour with a fairly slight amount of C02 being released during the pour. No residual head appears on the top of the glass and the liquid smells strongly of Apple. A sharp darkness joins the almost apple juice like aroma to be reminiscent of a dark rum and apple juice concoction from one’s college days. The flavour is big with apple but also well-infused with rum. Very much resembling an apple juice and rum mixture with a kick of bubbly this is unique and big flavoured but does not by any means come across boozy. Well balanced this Barrel Aged Cider is easy drinking and has the depth of flavour that a non-cider drinker may just be looking for.
