Brassneck Brewery

Brassneck Brewery – The Unanimous Vote is in and This is the Place to Be!

Vancouver Loves Brassneck Brewery – You will too!

Brassneck Brewery

If you ask around Vancouver where the best brewery in the city is they will more than likely direct you to the corner of Main Street and 6th Avenue – The home of Brassneck Brewery. Opened in October of 2013 this relatively new brewery has quickly won the hearts of craft beer drinkers near and far.

This fanfare is no real surprise though as Brassneck is a partnership of two longstanding experts in craft beer. Owner of the infamous Alibi Room Nigel Springthorpe partnered with former brewmaster of Steamworks Brewing Co., Conrad Gmoser to create what is now a booming brewery.

Brassneck Brewery

The Brassneck business model is not your typical brewery. As you walk in the front door you are first welcomed with the intrigued and longing stare of a German Shepard beckoning for a belly rub. Once this distraction has passed you are to the one stop in your choose your own adventure novel. Will you enter the growler filling area or the tasting lounge? With a line often stretching out the door the two serving areas are kept separate to serve customers with what they want as quickly as possible. If you are looking for the beer in a bottle though or to find it on tap outside of the brewery you are out of luck. The only place to buy Brassneck beer is at the Brassneck brewery. There are no bottling lines, no keg washers and surely no stacks of cans in the back. When you drink one of the many beers on tap it is fed straight from the conditioning tanks to your glass or growler for the freshest taste possible.

Brassneck Brewery

The beer here is all about the traditions of brewing and the exploration of flavour. Through small batches of open fermented beer, the on-tap options change as quickly and you will never experience the same list twice. Conrad is a brewery of infinite knowledge while living, breathing and eating craft beer. There is a reason the Brassneck Brewery reputation precedes themselves and the only way you can have the full Brassneck experience is to head on down to the corner of Main street and 6th Avenue.

If you are in Vancouver and have not experienced one of the busiest breweries within the province of British Columbia your time is up. Visiting Brassneck brewery should be at the top of each and every Bucket List near and far. Come on down and visit for a pint or a flight. You will not be disappointed!
