Howe Sound Brewing – Gold Tooth Berliner Weisse Review

A Berliner Weisse is a cloudy style wheat beer from Northern Germany and Howe Sound Brewing, The Alibi Room and Red Flag Design together bring us the Gold Tooth. This Weisse pours a crisp and clear golden colour with two fingers of head and smells very similar to a light pilsner with a touch of wheat. Don’t be fooled by the category description as this beer is extremely dry and the sour aspect is not at all what you may think. Light malts, basic wheat undertones and the slightest of sour tones at the back end. There is nothing intense about this beer and at a mere 3.8% abv you can drink it all day and all night while keeping your wits. If you are looking for a sour, this is not your stop. If you want a beer that is easy drinking and light on the alcohol the Gold Tooth is a great option!
