Lighthouse Brewing – Tasman Ale Review

The Tasman Ale pours from its stubby bottle in an amber colour with a fairly thin head. The smell is hoppy with some sweetness associated and a touch of caramel. The taste is not as hoppy as the aroma would make you think and the maltiness takes over the overall flavour leaving a lightly sweetened, relatively neutral palate. While there is nothing in the Tasman Ale that truly stands out it is a well flavoured, easy drinking ale that can please the taste preferences of nearly anyone.
