Hoyne Brewing Co. – Summer Haze Honey Hefeweizen Review

The Hoyne Summer Haze is a beer for a hot day. The nose is slightly citrus but quite neutral and mellow. The colour is a hazy golden-amber but does not have the cloudiness that you would expect given the classification. Upon tasting the beer it is even more mellow than expected. A mild wheat flavour ties together with a touch of orange, lemon with a honey sweetness to make an extremely easy-drinking Hefeweizen. This is a very refreshing, easy drinker but does not lend itself well to the beer snobs among us. The taste is good but it leaves much to the imagination when comparing it to other Hefeweizens that are currently available from other BC breweries.

Alcohol – 5.1%
Size – 650ml bottles
Price – $5.00 (Brewery)
This is a seasonal beer and is currently only available at the brewery.
