R&B Brewing Co. – Raven Cream Ale Review

The R&B Cream ale is a classic beer from a long-standing staple of BC craft beer. Pouring from the bottle the raven is darker than typical for a cream ale as a copper colour and pours with 2 fingers of thick and creamy head. The beer smells of a sweet, lightly burnt malt flavour and a touch of hop. The flavour is a creamy and light with a big of a hop kick to it. When people think Cream Ale, they may think of a beer with a bigger body than this but a nice balance of sweetness, malt character and hop bitterness makes this a light and very enjoyable beer from East Vancouver’s R&B Brewing Company.

Well done! Kilkenny cream ale is one of my go to beers… this being a local beer blows my mind. Good bye Kilkenny… hello R & B Raven!
