Okanagan Springs – Hopped Lager Review

Where there is usually all malt flavour, here there is hop. The hopped lager is exactly as the name describes; a light beer with a hopped finish giving a slight bitterness to the flavour. While I am all for hop, is some ways this seems like a different type of beer trying to play me-too. If I wanted a hoppy beverage I would just go for an IPA. Maybe this is just me but I would let hop stay where it belongs. This beer is a bit of an oddity, it doesn’t taste bad by any means but it is simply not as good as the alternatives. I will take a good lager or IPA over this any day of the week.
