Cannery Brewing – Anarchist Amber Ale Review

One of the long time favourites of the Cannery Brewing Company is their Amber Ale. Branded as the Anarchist this is another long-time brew for this Penticton based brewery with a following throughout the entire province. From the 650ml bomber bottle this Amber Ale pours a slightly clousdy amber colour topped with a finger and a half of lightly lacing head. The aroma is malty with a slightly toasted aroma to it. A hoppy tone does also come into play with a slightly metallic smell as well. The Anarchist hits the tongue in a refreshing fashion. The Malt tones come out first followed by a caramel flavour that builds into a slightly metallic, citrus hop finish. This is an easy drinking beer that has a ton of flavour. As a beer that just about anyone can enjoy this is a beer to keep on hand in case you need to impress your guests with a delicious and broadly accepted craft beer.
