Fernie Brewing Co - The Griz Pale Ale Review Fernie Brewing Company – The Griz Pale Ale Review

The Fernie Brewing Company’s The Griz Pale Ale is a golden colour lighter than typical by BC standards of the style. Topped with two fingers of lightly lacing head the Griz Pale Ale smells of a malty, lightly hopped pale ale. The hop profile forecasts a blend of BC-type flavours and an infusion of traditional, European pale ale roots. The taste is crisp and refreshing being rather light for a Pale Ale brewed in BC. Lightly hopped with a defined maltiness to it, an appropriate light-bitterness comes near the finish. This is a beer that is light and crisp and while it is light for a Pale Ale it is a flavourful step from a lager and a beer than many will enjoy through the summer months ahead!
