Bridge Brewing Elderflower Kettle Sour BottleBridge Brewing Company – Elderflower Kettle Sour Review

Bridge Brewing Company’s Elderflower Kettle Sour is the third in their Ironworkers Series of limited release beers.  This sour pours from the bomber bottle a burnt orange colour with 2 fingers of off-white head that leaves plenty of lacing in the glass as it dissipates.  The beer gives off aromas of huckleberry and other tart berries, as well as lemon and subtle floral notes.  The taste brings flavours of berry and stone fruits initially, moving through to dark fruit and earthy tones.  As the flavours dissipate the floral flavours begin to display in the back corners of the mouth along with some slight bitterness and a lingering tartness.  Like others in this series, the Bridge crew have produced something special.  Get your bottle while they last.
