Bomber Brewing Oktoberfest Munchen Lager Review Bomber Brewing Co. – Oktoberfest Munchen Lager Review

The Bomber Brewing Oktoberfest beer is an Munchen lager from the heart of Germany. Brewed with an extra heaping of tradition this beer is as close to Munich as you can find in British Columbia. The Bomber Brewing Oktoberfest Lager appears a dark amber colour and is topped with a finger and a half of tightly packed head which settles without much in the the way of lacing left behind. The beer smells strongly of malted notes, caramel sweetness and German hops. This beer smells like Germany as fall approaches. On the palate this German Lager is reasonably light with a distinctly bittered, toasted malt flavour with a pretty big caramel kick. The beer is not sweet but it is sweetened The beer is not bitter but it is bittered. This beer is not any one thing because it illustrates a balance and precision that only a German could truly appreciate. The Bomber Oktoberfest Munchen Lager is a taste of tradition and one of the best German styled beers to come out of British Columbia
