Overview

Steamworks & New Belgian Collaboration ReviewThe second beer to be released in Steamworks’s Collaboration Ale series is a partnership with Colorado based New Belgian Brewing. This is a Golden Belgian Ale that pours a rich golden colour topped with a finger and a half of quickly dispersing head. the aroma from this collaborative brew is strong with wheat, coriander and Belgian yeast. The flavour is sharp with high carbonation, a distinct peppercorn flavour and surprising chili spice. This is definitely a unique brew and while the tongue may not be burning after each mouthful the ancho-chili and peppercorn content is well known with each sip. This is a unique and spicy Belgian brew bringing some western-USA beer prowess up north of the 49th. Collaboration is a great thing and with it comes fantastic tasting beer such as the Rollin’ Golden!
