Quality and Change Drives New Tranquility IPA From Moon Under Water

The Moon Under Water Demands Quality and Change with Tranquility IPA

Moon Under Water Tranquility IPAFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

VICTORIA, BC – October 14, 2015 – October gearing up to be a high profile month, and not just because of the federal election taking place after Thanksgiving. It will also see the rerelease of The Moon Under Water’s Tranquility IPA.

The new Tranquility, brewed as throwback to the early 1990’s West Coast brewing industry, also features a newly designed label and message which is coming hot on the heels of the incredibly successful Hip as Funk release earlier this year – a beer that was designed to take on the sexist branding that still seems to be the norm in the brewing industry.

Like Hip as Funk, the new Tranquility label features a non-sexualised  women designed by Vancouver Graphic Artist Bjauna Sorensen. Being a 50% women owned brewpub showing a strong, independent women is important to them, but the new design also come with a message of equality. Something that’s still a hot button issue in this upcoming election.

“Being a small business and equal opportunity employer, we want our branding to represent our core beliefs. This means equality whether it’s gender, sexual orientation, race or religion.” says Chelsea Walker, co-owner of The Moon Under Water. “We’re bringing change to the table again this October, and we’re hoping everyone else does as well.”

The newly re-designed Tranquility IPA, complete with “Peace, Love and Hoppiness”, will be in private liquor stores around B.C. starting on October 20th.
