The Phillips Instigator Doppelbock is Back for 2013
November 12th, 2013: The Phillips Brewing Company‘s Instigator Doppelbock is back! This annual winter warmer has emerged from his snow-encrusted cave just in time to join you by the fireside, or wherever you curl up with a craft brew on a cold winter night.
The Doppelbock style was originally brewed by German monks to sustain them through lent season, and our version of this ‘liquid bread’ is crafted with a big, toasted malt body that’s deep copper in colour, and complimented by rich, sweet aromas. This 8.5% seasonal sipper is available at finer cold beer & wine stores for a limited time only.
If you would like to sample this special release on draft, please join Phillips at the Victoria based brewery for a free tasting from 4-6pm on Thursday November 14th.

This is one that I still have not tried somehow. Sounds good though.
